Engineered Monitoring Systems is committed to training team members to the highest standards in the industry. From manufacturer certification schools to Association seminars and classes, we strive to provide the most comprehensive educational opportunities to our employees in order to provide the highest level of service to your project.

We have NICET and California Fire Life Safety Certified technicians on staff, as well as several apprentices enrolled in State Approved Training.

Many of our employees are trained in varied areas such as Special Hazard Protection, Enterprise Class IT Platforms, and CCTV Integration.

John L. Sullivan is the General Manager of Engineered Monitoring Systems, Inc. of Rancho Cordova, Ca., a Board Member of the California Automatic Fire Alarm Association, a Voting Member of NFPA, and an associate member of the Northern California Fire Prevention Officers . Mr. Sullivan began working in the Fire Alarm industry in 1985, and currently holds California Fire/Life Safety Technician and NICET Level III certifications.
